Fall Vests
http://www.kmart.com/shopfashion/dap-120000000229640?adCell=kmfShop-Dream-Shopall#brand=Dream&cat=ShopallMid-Knuckle Rings
Sometimes when accessorizing, it’s not necessarily one piece of jewelry that creates a memorable look but instead lots of little pieces put together. For example, the perfect arm party or a carefully planned out ring mixture can create a super trendy accessory combination.
When it comes to packing on the pieces there’s a beloved trend in jewelry: the mid-knuckle ring. These tiny, delicate rings sit between your knuckle and fingertip, and they’re just plain adorable. We think they look absolutely stunning when combined with lots of other jewelry or even if they are featured by themselves. Stars like Vanessa Hudgens love this new look and we think you to!

The Color Wheel
This summer no hue is off limits and I think its super important that we all make mental notes of the basic color rules to prevent overdosing on a crazy color concoction. Some of my favorite things about having been a fashion major were getting to play with different textures and shades. In my aesthetics and textile classes I learned fashion rules that I still refer to everyday!
In school, I always had a color wheel tucked into my notebook to help on various projects. Nowadays, I've got the wheel completely memorized, which is extremely helpful, especially when I'm at the mall trying to quickly pull together an outfit for an upcoming event. Whether you have a go-to color combination, enjoy the classics, or you’re crushing on trendy palettes like neons or pastels, simple color rules can easily help you style and accessorize an editorial-worthy look in mere seconds.
Below are the three basic color schemes:
Analogous Color Scheme
These are the colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. The analogous color scheme is the most pleasing to the eye and will always give your ensemble a harmonious look. When styling these colors it’s important to allow them to play against each other using one as the dominant color and the other as fashionable accents.
Complementary Color Scheme
These are colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel. When combining these vibrant, high-contrast colors it’s easy to create an eye-catching color blocked ensemble.
Monochromatic Color Scheme
A monochromatic color scheme consists of different shades and tints of one single color. To avoid overloading on this tonal palette, use white or black to break up your ensemble to help you achieve a chic and crisp appearance.
Fash Tip: Try placing a color wheel in your closet so you can refer to it when putting together your outfits. This will help to inspire creative color combinations that you may not have previously thought of! Good luck, girls. Bring on the color!
Which of these color schemes is your favorite? Are you ready to embrace summer brights?xoxo Kayla

Pre-fall shades
ISeasons in between seasons are often the best. Pre-fall is great because you get a chance to mix the brightness of summer with the moody trend tones of fall. Today we’re showing you the majority of the colors we’ll be using in our upcoming manicure tutorials. We always like to give you a preview so you can stock up and get your nail art kit ready to go. A couple of them might be a little hard to find, depending on where you are, but you can always get something similar at your local beauty supply…
- Muted Lilac – very subtle, equally purple and gray.
- Nautical Blue – there’s something so sailor-y about this color.
- Perfect Pink– the fanciest flamingo we ever did see.
- Dark Neutral– dark + rich, complimentary to bright poppy colors when doing nail art.
- Purplish – not sure what to call it but OBSESSED.
- Bright yellow– the happiest color of all.
- Teal– just look down at your nails and think about vacation.
